Community Support Worker

Growing up with the Roads Program has been a big part of my life. With my grandmother Ruth founding the program and my dad, Den, always leading by example, I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by the spirit of inclusion and community. It’s been amazing to officially join the team since 2023 and continue the legacy that’s been such a big part of my family.

What I love most about working here are the outings with participants. Whether it’s going to the mall for lunch, exploring local spots, or just getting out into the community, it’s always a blast to see everyone connecting and having a good time. There’s something special about watching people build confidence and feel included while we’re out and about.

Outside of work, you’ll probably find me catching the latest hockey game or going to see the latest film—movies and sports are my two big passions. I also take pride in helping keep everyone safe as I’ve taken on health and safety responsibilities at the program, making sure we’re always prepared and looking out for each other.

Working at Roads doesn’t feel like a job—it feels like being part of a big family, and I’m proud to be part of the team that makes it all happen.
