Back in Action: Nicole Leads Us Into 2025!
Our fearless leader, Nicole Crockett, is officially back in action, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her guiding us into 2025! Nicole is back with renewed energy and enthusiasm, ready to lead our team and participants toward new opportunities and exciting changes.
Nicole’s dedication and passion for the Roads Program have always set the tone for our community, and it’s no surprise that her return has already brought a sense of stability and motivation. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re ready to make this year the best yet—with Nicole at the helm, anything is possible!
Reflecting on 2024: Transitions and New Faces
Last year was full of change as we saw some familiar faces leave the program to pursue new adventures. In October 2024, Steven decided to further his education and focus on continued learning, taking his skills to the next level. Around the same time, Jeff chose to follow his calling into the medical field and spend more time with his family—an admirable decision that reflects his caring nature and desire to make a difference.
We also had the pleasure of welcoming Wasiu Aroyewun and Ariel Oh to the Roads team in October 2024. Wasiu brings a passion for community connection and health and safety, while Ariel’s fresh perspective and positive energy have made an incredible impact. Both have been essential in keeping the program moving forward through a busy and ever-changing time.
Looking Ahead: 2025 and Beyond
With Nicole back and our team feeling stronger than ever, we’re setting our sights on a year of growth and innovation. One of our biggest goals is to streamline processes to track client well-being more efficiently—making sure that every participant feels safe, supported, and valued. We’re working on enhancing our documentation practices to make it easier to see progress and respond to needs quickly.
In addition to more efficient processes, we’re planning to introduce new activities, community talks, safety drills, and interactive sessions to keep things fun and engaging. We’re also hoping to bring back some of our most-loved activities from past years, along with a few exciting new ideas to keep everyone on their toes!
